An illusion is a misread sensory experience which is part of our perception. Perception is necessary as it allows us to continually be in a state of learning and healing. However, the secret is knowing that our perception can be altered by our willingness to change and our desire to feel whole again. This is where our true power lies.

Our awareness is the influence behind the knowledge that we accumulate through our daily
happenings. How we use this awareness reflects directly on our perception of our reality. When we choose an awareness that exists in love, then fear is totally absent and therefore an illusion.

The minute we become aware of our state of fear, for example, feeling angry or vengeful, we have
the power to practice choosing to align with our compassion and understanding instead. This is a
learning point. As soon as we have the courage to recognise our self in its aspect that is unconscious (by making it conscious), this becomes a new expression of fulfilling the original desire to feel whole or healed.

Illusions produce perceptions of perfection or rightness and judgement. Until we make this
unknown, known, we are living unconsciously and suffering the consequences of these illusions. Negative emotions and behaviours are the product of remaining in these illusions.

Discover your genuine self by learning to take a step back and truly observing your thoughts, feelings and actions. Do these support your wholeness and your sense of well-being? What is preventing you from making a change?

The New Moon is in the sign of Gemini 18 June 2023. The dark of the moon is symbolic of what seeds have been planted and not yet ‘seen’. You may be feeling eager to reconnect with someone or perhaps just feeling like a change. This moon’s energy brings a sense of excitement and newness with it.
