“It is not possible to control the outside of yourself until you have mastered your breathing space. It is not possible to change anything until you understand the substance you wish to change.” – Jeanette Winterson
In my hypnotherapy experiences with my clients over the last two decades, I found that there are
four basic human hurts and each one produces an unconscious archetype. This archetype or
personality is how each of us program our beliefs in feeling safe or not safe in our personal
The clients (individual) life experience they needed support with was related to their general misery and desperate need for change in the relationship with their self and others. They all had one aspect in common, a low or lack of sense of self-worth and this branched out into one or all four basic hurts – shame; betrayal; rejection/neglect and inflexibility.
The deeper the hurt, the stronger the characteristics of the person’s belief system. The ego (from
the Greek word meaning ‘’I’’, the identity of self) thrives in the fear belief system and its job is to
constantly distract you so that that you remain there. Therefore, creating a false sense of security
based on the principal distraction that ‘’I am always right’’ or ‘’it’s the other person’s fault’’ or “this
(fill in your belief) is missing’’ and ‘’this (fill in your belief) is wrong’’.
Most people are unaware of the ‘’I’’ in their self-identity and function mainly using their
programmed hurts to direct their way through life. Often in my previous newsletters I have
mentioned self-mastery as the tool to better manage life. The less you know about your Self (the ‘’I’’) the more your hurts and false sense of security keep you going around and around the same issues, often leaving you feeling lost and stuck in victimhood. Expanding on your self-awareness supports your capacity to live your best life.

The last two eclipses for this year are in this month and this means that everyone is feeling the pressure on some level. Eclipses bring big change and usually very suddenly, ready or not. It is the
Universe’s way of bringing to light everything that is hidden, including emotions.
The New Moon SOLAR ECLIPSE 14 October (Annular) is in the sign of Libra. A time of fresh starts and new beginnings especially around our ability to create balance in our lives and acting or taking action in a just and fair way. Remember that the New Moon energy is something you feel before it is seen. Give attention to your instincts.
The Full Moon LUNAR ECLIPSE 28 October is in the sign of Taurus. A time of completions, endings and
illumination. Your desires are being highlighted and how you express these, can make you inflexible and fixated. This is a time to see what needs to be seen and practice flexibility and patience. Take your time and be practical with regards to decisions around money or material things.
As with all things astrological, a deeper look into your natal chart will explain more about how these eclipses will affect you.
I wish you a healthy, safe a blessed month!
